Quick Social Services, Inc. (Q.S.S.) is a voluntary provider of Residential Services for people with Developmental Disabilities in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

We currently have the following positions open:
Nurse (RN)
Requirements: Current N.Y. State Nursing License
Previous Supervisory and Teaching
Experience.
Nursing Candidates must be willing to learn and to follow directives relative to accomplishing the mission of the agency and each individual's objectives. Sucessful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
1) A strong work ethic, a professional demeanor and the ability to be a team player.
2) Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
3) The ability to manage the medical model at the assigned work site.
4) The ability to review all health care consults and to write a monthly case note for all individuals served at the assigned site.
5) The ability to promptly update and maintain the medical records of the individuals served.
6) The ability to provide in-service training for staff members.
7) The ability to teach, monitor and supervise staff pouring medications.
8) Commitment, Sensitivity and Compassion for the population that we serve.
9) Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 20 hrs. weekly at the assigned site.
